Service for Steam and Hot Water Systems

Maintenance, repair and overhaul, independent of manufacturer

Our service team of welding technicians, pipefitters and electrical installers looks after steam and hot water systems throughout their entire service life. We equip complete boiler houses and energy centres, and carry out maintenance and repair work on pressure vessels of all kinds. The experience of our field technicians, backed by our engineers, ensures safe, cost-effective operation with high availability.

Service for Systems from Any Manufacturer

Our services cover most water-tube and shell boiler systems from all well-known manufacturers. You get maintenance, repair and spare parts from a single source, regardless of who built your system. Our team knows these designs from our own manufacturing background. That lets us assess the condition of your system quickly and propose measures that match its actual wear pattern.

Services at a Glance

Maintenance and Servicing

Regular maintenance of shell boilers, water-tube boilers, piping systems and combustion systems. We keep your system within its designed operating condition and document every service visit.

Recurring Inspections

Preparation and execution of internal and external inspections under the Betriebssicherheitsverordnung (German Ordinance on Industrial Safety and Health). We open, clean and accompany the inspection so your system goes back into operation on schedule.

Repair and Refurbishment

Complete boiler refurbishment as well as special repairs to the pressure parts, including replacement of smoke tubes, stay bolts and gusset stays on three-pass boilers.

Boiler Cleaning

Cleaning on both the flue-gas and water sides. Clean heating surfaces lower fuel consumption and extend the system’s service life.

Water Treatment and Water Quality

Inspection of your water treatment system and periodic monitoring of water quality. Good feedwater protects the pressure parts and prevents the most common cause of damage in boiler operation.

Spare Parts

Spare parts service for our own systems and for third-party makes.

System Optimisation: Modernisation and Retrofit

An existing boiler system often has more life left in it than its age would suggest. We check which parts can keep going and which need replacing, and bring your system up to today’s standard. For a planned modernisation, we advise you from the very first consideration onward, then our engineers and service technicians carry out the project together. A retrofit preserves existing substance and shortens downtime compared with a new build.

What We Modernise

  • New tubing for shell boilers
  • Retrofitting boiler components and heat recovery systems
  • Renewal of boiler refractory linings
  • Complete boiler refurbishment
  • System optimisation and consulting on cost-effective operation

If your boiler system changes location, we handle disassembly, transport and reassembly. Our engineers support the application for installation and operating permits and adapt the system to changed safety regulations.

Conversion to Electrically Heated Energy Storage

We convert existing and decommissioned boiler systems into electrically heated energy storage units. We also retrofit existing thermal stores with electric auxiliary heaters to buffer surplus electrical energy. That turns a fully depreciated system into a building block of your energy supply.

How a Service Request Works

1. Request

You describe your system and your request to us, via the form or by phone.

2. Technical Assessment

We clarify the condition of the system, by phone or on site.

3. Offer

You receive a quote with the scope of work and a proposed schedule.

4. Execution

We carry out the work and hand over the documentation.

Maintenance Contracts

We arrange maintenance contracts for your system, with fixed intervals and predictable costs. We align the scope with your operation and your system. Get in touch with us.

Conversion to Operation Without Constant Supervision

Many existing systems can be equipped to run for 72 hours without constant supervision. That relieves your staff and noticeably lowers operating costs.

Requirements

Required is self-monitoring, redundant safety equipment built to today’s state of the art, together with the right peripheral equipment, such as an additional low-water level limiter and automatic blowdown and desludging systems.

Process

We carry out a technical assessment of your system, check the requirements, plan the retrofit and carry it out. Whether a conversion is possible depends on the design of the system and on the Industrial Safety Regulation

Combining It with the Recurring Inspection

The most cost-effective time for the conversion is during an internal inspection that’s coming up anyway. The system is already open, staff are already on site, and the downtime is used once instead of twice. So get in touch with us early, before your next inspection date.

Qualifikationen und Regelwerke

As an approved welding company, we hold the certificates and approvals for qualified work on your boiler system. We are certified as a manufacturer and welding company under the AD 2000 code of practice, tested to AD 2000 data sheets HP 0 and HP 100 R as well as TRD 201, within the framework of the Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU.
